We like to get together whenever we can and thought you'd like to join us, even if it's only
electronically. To aid that, here are some of the recent doings in our parish life.
MICHELLE AND LILY'S BAPTISM Michelle and Lily are the two newest members of the body of
Christ. Here
are some photos of the grand occasion.
PENTECOST AND PRAYER SHAWLS May 25 was our 2009 celebration of Pentecost. Many of us wore
red and you can see us in all our finery
here. You can
also see the prayer shawls knitted by parishioners. The shawls are given to people in the community who
need them.
TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME June 4 was a wonderful, sunny evening and some of us thought
it would be great to see the West Michigan Whitecaps play a game at Fifth-Third Park. You can see the
fun we all had
here. Surely it was because we were there that the Caps won.
FORE! Or should that be "forty"? That's about how many parishioners and friends attended
the first annual Holy Trinity Golf Outing on June 27. See each player (no, not Gary Player), some of the
action, and the after-tourney party here.
NO BLUES THIS TIME Jim Croce had it wrong this time. There were no "Workin' at the Car
Wash Blues" for our youth on July 12 as they polished the vehicles of anyone who wanted to help them raise
a little money. See the sudsy, wet affair
here.
DECORATIONS OF RED (AND GREEN) Parishioners all stayed after the service on December 20
to decorate the church in preparation for Christmas. You can see it
here.
KNOCKIN' 'EM DOWN The Holy Trinity Midwinter Bowling Blast was just that: a blast! January
30, 2010 was the day and Spectrum Lans was the place. See the pins fall
here

MASS IN THE GRASS On September 26, we held a "Mass in the Grass" -- a service in our labyrinth.
Here's a photo. The labyrinth
is a great place to meet God.
WHAT'S IN YOUR PANTRY? The mobile food pantry rolled in on August 12, 2011 and out team helped
distribute the goods to people in need. We took some
photos
.
EVERYTHING BUT THE YARD The rain held off the morning of August 20, 2011 and we were able to
hold our yard sale. You can see the items we were selling
here.
A VISIT FROM THE FIRE DEPARTMENT Sometimes a service is too exciting. Here's a
photo of fire department personnel who arrived to put out a fire in the upstairs
restroom.
WALKING MEMORY LANE Do you parishioners who were here when we remodeled remember the laying of the
beams for the rector's office, nursery, and upstairs restroom? Here are a
few
pictures to refresh your memory.
REAL CHURCH LADIES Forget the "Saturday Night Live" skits, here is a photo of some
genuine church ladies. Can you identify them?
