Annual meeting is Jan. 26

We’re having our annual parish meeting on Sunday, January 26 right after the 10 a.m. Eucharist.

We need your vote! We need your hot dish!

We’ll meet in the Parish Hall downstairs, and to tempt everyone to stay and share, we’re making it a potluck lunch, so please bring a dish.

Printed packets will be available at the meeting, but it would be great if you’d read the packet that was emailed to you ahead of time and have your questions ready.

We need a quorum to vote on the proposed change to our bylaws (see below) and to vote in our new Vestry members, so come one, come all!

Candidates for Vestry

This year, Debbie Murphy, Lisa Nelson and Barb Stuije are rotating off the Vestry, and Ron Tiller has resigned. Fortunately we have four people running for Vestry!  Linda Kitsch, Kevin Murphy, Nan Campau and Genia LaNore.

If you have any questions, please contact our Senior Warden, Debbie Murphy.

Proposed change to our bylaws

At our December vestry meeting a motion was presented to allow acting-clergy,
Peter Homeyer, the right to say yes or no to persons carrying guns at Holy Trinity.
It was unanimously adopted. We would now like to adapt the bylaws of the church to
have Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Wyoming Michigan be a gun-free campus.

The proposed adapted portion of the bylaw will read:

“Holy Trinity is a gun-free campus, with the only exception being licensed

law enforcement officers.”
