Hello, Holy Trinity family! Zoom has now, as of April 3, updated their security to require passwords and other steps before you join a video meeting. This is to avoid any risk of the “photobombing” by unwelcome online people you may have read about in the news.

How to join a Zoom meeting

  1. Click on the link to the video service or meeting you want to join. We’ve put the list of links on the home page of this website.
  2. NEW: When it asks you for a password, enter 5333.
  3. You might see a screen asking you to confirm the name you want others to see under your face. You can type in just your first name or whole name, whatever feels right to you.
  4. NEW: You’ll then see a message that you’re in a “waiting room,” waiting for the host to approve you to join.

So, if you’ve hesitated over joining a Bible study or other online meeting using Zoom, you might want to give it a try!
