Palm Sunday begins the most important week of the Church year. We will travel together through the Passion of Jesus: his triumphal arrival in Jerusalem, his last meal with his dearest friends, his arrest, and his death on the cross.
This year we cannot gather together physically, but we will honor and celebrate each of several events! The schedule and links are on the home page of this website.
And join us in these other ways to stay connected:
New software for our directory & donations
This week you’ll receive an email about new software, called Realm, which will allow you to find our directory and donation history online. Soon, it will allow us to accept electronic donations!
Look for your Easter packet in the mail
It includes palms, a letter, a special Easter donation card, and a pamphlet on creating a home altar.
Create a home altar
Make the effort to set aside a part of your home for this important week, and share the results with all of us! We’re posting the pictures we receive for everyone to see on our “Create a Home Altar” page.
Be part of the Easter sermon!
Send me a very short video (less than 5 seconds) of you enthusiastically saying, “Alleluia Anyway!” I’ll edit them together for our Easter service.
I hope you will join us in these practices. We might be “stuck” at home, but we are not stuck without our faith and traditions. People from the Bible and our traditions have something to tell us about hard times, and how to remain faithful.
I invite you to take this week to listen to and participate with them, as we take our shelter in God.
Please know that you all all in my prayers and I look with joy toward the day we will be together again.
Yours in Christ,
