“The blood of Christ, the cup of salvation.” The person who offers you the cup at communion and says these words to you is a Lay Eucharistic Minister (LEM). If you are already serving as a LEM or you’re a LEM wannabe, you need to meet the requirement for training.
On March 15 at 11:30 a.m. we’ll offer a second LEM training. This 30-minute class will focus on the practicalities of serving at Table – how to handle the bread and wine and napkins, AKA fair linen. Attending this session or the earlier one meets the Diocesan requirement for licensing as a LEM.
Thank you for your altar service!
